The name, Copper Dime, is one of my online identities on a popular website. Several pictures of me are posted to this site; one of which, displays me in a fitted white tank-top with a lollipop hanging out of my mouth.
One day (a few years ago), a guy from New York viewed my profile and sent me a note, via the site, in the form of a poem. The poem, Copper Dime is our conversation, verbatim. I don't know who the guy is, nor did we ever have a "normal" conversation. I haven't heard from him since our exchange. The last note he sent after my last verse was: "Can we stop rhyming and have a normal conversation?" The poem begins with him and ends with me.
